Creepy, crawling, cockroaches in a video – posted by a DoorDash Driver from the Popeye’s location on Detroit’s east side, at Conner and Warren, have surfaced.

While FOX 2 was there Monday, inspectors from the Detroit Health Department examined the location and told FOX 2 there was evidence of cockroaches — which led to the video.

“Cockroaches visit some dark, sore places, like drains and feed on rotting food,” VanderWerp said.

The Popeye’s location is closed for now and the restaurant is working with a pest control company to deal with the issue. They will have to pass inspection again with the city to reopen.
